FIRST TWEAT FROM SPACE: In a Twitter first, astronaut TJ Creamer sent a tweet from space. Creamer joined the International Space Station crew last month and has spent his time off the planet working with flight controllers in Houston to establish internet access. Prior to hooking up the connection, astronauts had to submit Twitter updates to Mission Control for posting. That’s one small tweet for man, one giant tweet for mankind.

YOUNG PERFORMERS RECENTLY ON PBS: Pianist, Ronald Joseph, is 17 years old and grew up outside of New Orleans, but temporarily relocated to New York in the wake of Hurricane Katrina to study at the Juilliard School before returning home to finish out his senior year of high school. Ronald performed the second movement Mardi Gras from The Enchanted Garden by Richard Danielpour. 13-year old Nikki Yanofsky from Hampstead, Quebec tours North America as a jazz singer, and used the first paycheck she earned from her singing to establish a cancer foundation. 17-year old violinist Allyson Tomsky from Brooklyn, New York she performed the first movement Allegro ben ritmato e decisco from Gershwins Three Preludes to round out the episode.
